Dad- I wish I could tell you how much things have changed since you have been gone.

I miss you more each day. 

Your house isn't the same.

Hey Dad, Things are really different now. The house is quite dull. Mom doesn't know what to do with herself, also. We are going to fix the garage door soon, as it is broken, and cut down one of the trees in the yard, as it took has died. 
We will keep your yard kept up. Miss you much.

Thank you Dad for everything. You made our home fun. You brought us on vacations when we were young. (Chicago, the beginning waters of the Mississippi, hotels & resorts.) You took us to our basketball lessons and games. You taught us how to drive, and gave us an old car to drive around to school and work. Even though we didn't have much, we always felt like we had a lot. 

Rita - 
     Lotsa memories over the years.  A long time since Bud asked me "Who was that good looking girl at your graduation party?".  Thanks for your friendship through the years.  Through thick and thin I always knew you were there.  Thanks for giving Bud the love, family and home he yearned to have.  
     Lets keep our happy memories alive through the days and years(??) we have left.  I think it's time for lunch with Judy at IKEA.
