Carol was pure love...a kind and gentle soul...she had a way of giving aid, comfort and sound advice.  She cared so deeply for the well being of others.  Now she soars the universe, with her love and companion, Don by her side.  

She is well, and at peace, but continues to explore and support us here on earth, with kind words and good suggestions.  We are blessed to have her with us even today, a bright and shining energy filled being, who comes when called, to aid and support us.

My mom loved to give gifts. She loved to give gifts to us all: my dad, her daughters, her grandchildren, her dogs and grand dogs and grand cats. They were carefully selected with love. But the biggest and best gift that I ever received from my mom is that she is my mom. She often told me the story of how I smiled at her the first time she held me and how she could see the bigger essence of me in my tiny baby body. That’s another one of the biggest best gifts my mom gave to everyone is that she could see you. She could see people and what they might need. I really felt seen by her, loved by her, taken care of by her, and cherished by her. 

One of the last things my mom and I did together was to decorate her Christmas tree together with my son Isaac. We put angel decorations on the tree, laughed and talked about the decorations that we had made together when I was a little girl. I’m so grateful that we did that together. We moved back and forth like a little dance together hanging the ornaments, talking and laughing.   In the dance of life, I am so grateful that she is my mom. She will always be my mom. Although her beautiful petite body will not be here anymore, her strong, powerful, never ending love will always be in my heart. It gives me peace to know that my mom’s love is always with me. In my heart, in my memories. All of our daily conversations have filled me with a repository of knowledge and wisdom that I can access. I am so grateful for all of the times we shared together. I will carry her memory with me and her love with me and know wherever I am, she is, and there is love.

I love my Grandma Carol. She made me noodles and cheese when we would go play. My favorite thing to do was play outside with her in the summer. I liked when she made silly voices when we played.


You held me close to your heart before I was born, 
You comforted me, cared for me, protected me as I grew 
You held me in your arms before I could walk
You held me in your arms, I told you that you were the apple of my eye....
You held me in your arms, then gently sent me on my way into the world, to learn, to laugh, to cry, to sigh, to sing, to dream, to love,to find joy... knowing that I was always in your heart, and you in mine...
I can now no longer be held, or hold you in my arms to share a hug in greeting or in parting....
Now I hold you in my thoughts, my memories, my dreams... my heart...I hold you there always.

Dear Don and Family,
It was with great sadness that I read from a Unity message that your beloved Carol had transitioned.

She was a bright and loving light in all our lives, her wisdom, kindness, and healing hands and heart, will not be forgotten by either myself or Tom.

I know Don, as sure as I live and breathe, that Marlys and Carol's beloved pups were there waiting to greet her. 
You and your family are in our prayers.  A double eye surgery one day prior to the memorial service prevented us from attending.

I first met you when I was going through a rough time in my life personally. I had first started dating your grandson Derek when introductions began. The first few moments of being around you, I instantly could feel the euphoric energy radiating off such a small woman. Never have I been so intrigued by how one person can have such effect on others just by being in the same room.  You gave me warmth in my life that I had not known before. You welcomed me with open arms and treated me as part of the family, always checking in and saying how happy you are that I was marrying your grandson. The love you showed for Don was inspirational, as I cannot wait to grow old with Derek where I see that connection with us as you two had. You will forever have a special place in my heart where I aspire to carry on your memory through love and compassion to others (and animals). I will always take care of Derek for you, and be reminded of your sweet love through him. Derek, Elba, Elliot and I love you so much. Till we meet again... 💞

My Aunt Carol was an inspirational person. Though we have always lived too far away to see each other often. The last few years we have communicated regularly on Facebook. She has been a big part of helping me get through some rough times recently. She introduced me to Reiki and energy healing which I find fascinating. She also gave me the opportunity to do some artwork for her book covers. That was a great experience, getting to read her creations and collaborating with her.  I will miss her very much. Blessings to you Carol and your family.

I am very saddened to hear about Carol leaving us. She was always a kind and vibrant light to see when I returned to Unity during my visits from CA. Full of wisdom, stories, perky, a zest for life and truth. And always beautiful to see her and Don working a life together, with love and joy. What a loss of a beautiful spirit and a blessing to have experienced her. I hold her in my heart.  Love to you Don, and her family and friends. 💖
