Barbara was preceded in death by Ronald Lundsten and Son, Craig Lundsten.
She is survived by Children, Guy Lundsten, Kurt (Leann) Lundsten, Lynn Nemchik, Alena Lundsten; Grandchildren, Nicholas Lundsten, Logan Nemchik, Stephanie Nemchik, Kimberly Nemchik, and Tristan Lundsten Eastman.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Barbara Jean Adams was born on September 2, 1942 in Mason City, Iowa. Her parents were Earl and Lois Adams. She grew up with one brother, Michael. They were very close.
As a child, they moved from Mason City, Iowa to Elmore, Minnesota.
When her father joined the Navy, her family moved in with her grandparents to Minneapolis, Minnesota.
There, she met and married Ronnie in 1959. They had 5 children together and they were blessed with 5 grandchildren.
Barb was a very active member in her church. She was a strong believer in her charismatic faith!
Barb retired after 30 years at Coon Rapids Plastics Inc.
She loved the color green, as we know St. Patrick’s Day was her favorite holiday. The same color as her beloved football team, Notre Dame, and coach Lou Holtz!
Barb loved sports - Vikings, tennis, and Notre Dame football.
Barb was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in early February 2019. While in rehab, she fell, hit her head, and lapsed into a coma. She was taken off of life support March 17 and passed peacefully on March 27.
Our mother suffered silently,
and smiled so no one could tell,
so if you see me smiling today,
know my mother taught me well.
