Arlene Marie Auch

Age 54, of Coon Rapids, passed away on Wed., July 10, 2013 in her home from ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease. Arlie was born Aug. 28, 1958 in N. Mpls. She graduated Patrick Henry High and received a B.A. from Bethel Univ. Arlie married LaMonte Auch on Oct. 17, 1981. She was a loving wife and mother, taking great joy in raising her two children. A gifted teacher, she taught for 33 years at Loring Community School, touching the lives of countless students and friends. She also loved traveling, painting, playing piano, and homemaking. Arlie's spirit brought joy to all who knew her. She was kind, generous, beautiful, fun, talented, loving, compassionate and outgoing. Her ever-smiling face, even through illness, spoke to her strong-will, deep faith, and love for those around her. She will always be remembered.

Arlie is survived by LaMonte, husband of 32 years, and their children: Audra (Clark) Field; Loren (Ashley) Auch; Grandson, Adam Field; mother, Millie Adam; sisters, Pat Stevens, Janet Dahlin, and Judy Adam; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John Adam, and infant sister Beverly.
