Andrew was born December 17, 2012. A Harry Potter Slytherin at heart, Andrew was a sweet natured and gentle kid who loved baseball, pizza, and Star Wars. He was happiest when he was wrestling and light-saber fighting with his big brothers or casting spells with his wizard wand. He loved reading Pete the Cat books, jamming to Toby Mac and Imagine Dragons, baking cookies with his Mom and Grandmom, and helping Dad with projects around the house.
He is survived by his loving parents Jeromy and Beth Dorsing, his caring and protective big brothers Nathen and Jesse, grandparents Kathy Gearhart, Randy Gearhart, and Craig and Cheryl Dorsing, Aunt Cristin (Alan) Dorsing Burnett, Aunt Sarah (Andre) Gearhart, Cousin Zola, Uncle Scott Gearhart, and Great Grandparents Edward Gearhart and Ruth Tenhoven. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Dorsing.
A Memorial Service will be held at Coon Rapids Evangelical Free Church in Coon Rapids at 1pm on Saturday July 20th. Snacks and fellowship with a time of sharing will follow. His parents invite you to wear Harry Potter attire (Slytherin green was Andrew's color!), Superhero attire, or any shirt supporting research or awareness of Congenital Heart Defects to celebrate the things he loved most.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Andrew's honor to Children's Hospital in Minneapolis for the Heart Program or Ronald McDonald House, Upper Midwest Charities. Links are down below.

Andrew’s earthly heart was never quite whole, but that never stopped him from sharing vibrant love and kindness in abundance. He was a fighter who beat the odds many times over. We celebrate that Andrew is now made whole with Jesus and know that even though we mourn today, we will see him again one day in Heaven.
