William Springfield, age 62, of Social Circle, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2011. "Celebration of Life" services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Horis A. Ward's Rockdale Chapel with Dr. Tim Hogg officiating. A native of Leflore County, Mississippi. Mr. William Springfield retired from AT&T in 2001 and was CEO of Springfield Roofing since 1987. He was a member of The Father's House Church, Conyers, GA. He is survived by his wife, Connie of Social Circle, his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Harold Dixon of Birchwood, TN, nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Mother-in-law Camille Conerly, of Gloster, MS, brothers and sister-in-law, Pat & Joy Conerly of Sumrall, Tim Conerly of Gloster, MS Susan and Dennis Lantrip of Carencro, LA, Cathy & Rie Roy of Brandon, MS. In lieu of flowers, Connie will appreciate you choosing one of these ministries to which to contribute in William's memory: The Father's House Church for a special need; Foundation of International Ministries (FIM) to complete a training center for pastors and other church leaders in India; Globe International for missionaries who are personal friends, Steve & Helen Cobb.
