Karl Michael Anschutz

Karl Michael Anschutz, age 18, and Laura Ann Anschutz, age 13, both of Conyers, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Heritage Hills Baptist church with Father John Kieran and Pastor John Donaldson officiating.

Karl was on born January 20, 1992, his proudest accomplishment was that he was an active Eagle Scout of Boy Scout Troop and Crew 410. He played trumpet in marching, jazz, and symphonic bands. An AP Scholar Senior at Heritage High School and was accepted at Georgia Tech, with a planned major in Mechanical Engineering. He was on the staff at Boy Scout Summer Camp at Bert Adams Scout Reservation as an Outdoor Skills instructor in 2009 and an Archery Director in 2010. He also attended Philmont Scout Ranch in 2009.

He is survived by his loving parents John snd Terri anschutz of Conyers; Uncle Tom and Aunt Rosa Anschutz and Cousins Stefan and Philip, of Conyers;

Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Michael Simpson of Dallas, TX

Aunt Heather and Uncle Scott Thompson, Portland, OR

Aunt Kara and Uncle Scott Ellis and Cousin Kole of Dallas, TX

The family will receive friends at Heritage Hills Baptist church on Sunday from 2-3 PM.
