Josephine Owens, age 72, of Conyers, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Horis A. Ward’s Rockdale Chapel at 12 noon, with Pastor Joe Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
A native of Chattanooga, TN, Mrs. Owens retired from nursing. She is survived by: husband, Charles Owens of Conyers; son, Tim Owens of Covington; sister, Sylvia & Charles Sherrill of Conyers
She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Gladys Broxton and sister, Doris Beckers.
