Jacqueline S. Shell Hall

Jacqueline S. Hall, age 80, of Conyers, died on Saturday, February 5, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, at Horis A. Ward’s Rockdale Chapel with Rev. Mike and CeCe Nicolich officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Jackie retired from Georgia Department Of Transportation after 34 years of service and was a member of Ebenezer UMC, where she sang in the Choir. She was very active and involved in The Prime Timers, Red Hat Society, XYZ, Ruth’s Circle, ushered at the Arts Center, the DOT and The Lunch Bunch.

She is survived by: granddaughter, Wendy Tinney of Sharpsburg; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Clifford P. Shell of Jefferson, GA, Linda Tidwell of Douglasville, Gary Cantrell of Douglasville, Terry Cantrell of Panama City, Fl; sister-in-law, Virginia Ann Cantrell of Douglasville.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Sangster, husband, John M. Hall III, sister, Marie Williams and brother, Clifford Shell.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Horis A. Ward - Rockdale Chapel, Conyers, GA.
