This is a really sad day, and a great loss to all who knew Mr. P.  The Board of Elections Office are at a loss for words, and we cannot really say much except for how we appreciated Mr. P for his generosity and sense of humor. He has always been a good friend, always ready to listen and lend a hand, and never failed to give a word of encouragement. We will surely miss him at our Poll Worker Training Classes and on Election Day.

To the Family:  When it hurts to look back and you are scared to go forward, just look beside you and your friends and family will be there for you. May the Lord give you courage and strength and keep you going through this tough time.

Perno played a huge role in helping to develop the RYSA complex in Conyers. We have many fond memories of those days and he was a big part of those memories.  We were sorry to hear of his passing.

I loved working at the election polls with Perno.  I always told him he was the best at dancing people through the booths. And I loved sharing funny emails with him.  I will truly miss him.  My deepest sympathy goes out to his entire family.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Scott family.  Perno became a good friend of Louise and I over these last 6 or 7 years.  Samborees in Georgia will not be the same but we know that Perno will live on in the hearts of many of us in Georgia Good Sams. Rick and Louise Stahurski, Chapter 19, Singing Sams.

The Georgia Good Sams have lost a true friend and someone who was always  fun to be around.  Our prayers go out to his family, may they have comfort knowing he is camping in heaven .

The Georgia samborees won't be the same.

Perno and I shared a love for cooking - he made the Pecan pies and I make fried apples pies -- we would swap pies at the Perry Samborees.  He will be greatly missed with his wicked sense of humor and his dedication to the Georgia State Good Sams.  We will miss his presence at the Samborees.   Our thoughts and prayers are with his family in their loss.

While cooking hotdogs, hamburgers at RYSA complex along side Helen & watching Perno run the concession stand,keeping control of games, people fussing about one thing or another and he still had time to give correct change. It was a wonderful time to just let your kids go and play, watch games and know they would be safe because Perno and the other RYSA members kept their eyes open. I am greatful for those memories and Perno, my friend.

We could always count on Perno to come up to the gate and eat fried pies with us that
the "Pie Lady" made for the parking committee.He always had a way to make us laugh. He will be missed for sure.

Our thoughts  and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. Perno's contributions to the Good Sam Club were immeasurable. He has left an indelible memory on everybody he has met and his wit and wisdom will surely be missed.

I have many great memories of Perno talking as we sat around campfires and picnic tables.  Some are really funny.  One thing about Perno, it was always interesting.  I send my condolences to David/Becky, Lynn/Gary, Chris, and all the rest of the family.  He was a force that will be missed.  His parting leaves a huge hole for many.
