Mary Alice Graham

Mary Alice Graham went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 5, 2022 in Conway, Arkansas. She was born on June 16, 1940 to Mary Rosaline and James Sterling Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Graham; brothers, Glenn Everett Vaughn and Sonny Vaughn.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Sherer; daughter, Wanda Susann Dry; sons, Dicky Dry and wife, Angie Fay, Michael F. Dry and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Candace Young and husband, Bobby, Peyton Pomtree, Kara Dry, and James Pickard; great-grandchildren, Paxton and Trent Young.

She started her career working for Timex in Little Rock for a short time before going to work at the Arkansas Highway Department at which she held numerous positions before retiring after 30 years of service. She loved volunteering at the American Legion in Little Rock and was very active in the Women’s Auxiliary where she served a term as President of the Women’s Auxiliary for the state of Arkansas.

She was a lifelong member of Parkview Christian Church where she spent a lot of time working in the church and making friends along the way. Her hobbies included cooking and watching cooking shows. She never met a garage sale that she couldn’t resist stopping at and browsing!

Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway, 1751 Dave Ward Drive on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Griffin Leggett in Conway on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. www.griffinleggettconway.com
