Josh followed his father’s footsteps and became an “Over the Road” trucker and had his own trucking company.Josh also had a passion for football. He started playing in the 5th grade through high school, some semi pro with the Arkansas Bolts.
Josh’s dedication to the Dallas Cowboys is well known by all. Josh had genuine charisma and was an extremely caring, sensitive and giving human being.If you were a friend of Josh’s, you were a friend for life.
Josh’s love for his family was incomprehensible. It’s very clear that Josh’s mentor was his father.
He is survived by his loving parents, Don and Peggy Taber, his last living grandparent, Judy Lynn Taber, his siblings, Jamie Schreiber, Jacob Taber, James Taber, Jennifer Taber, and Jackie Taber.
Josh also left behind the love of his life, Brittany Pelfrey and her son Edwin who absolutely adored Josh. He also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The viewing will be Monday August 21, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway, AR.
The Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday August 22, 2023 from 12-4 PM at New Life Church on Dave Ward and Country Club Lane in Conway, AR.
Dallas Cowboy attire is welcome at the Celebration of Life.
