Willie met and Married his wife Wanda I Brown. Willie and Wanda raised 2 children. Wanda passed in 2004 from cancer.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and exposing them to his passion for the outdoors. He said
that nature was his time to be calm, speak to God and find his peace.
After an on the job accident and recovery from a fall, he dedicated his life to his church and his family.
His greatest joy was reading Gods word and sharing it with his adult men's Sunday school class and leading bible study on Wednesday nights at Honea Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Willie passed on June 22, 2024 in a hospital room in Conroe. His last words to his son were “I want to take a nap, I love you son, and I will see you soon.”
A graveside service for Wille will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Conroe Memorial Park, 1600 Porter Road, Conroe, 77301.
