Wesley Farr Weed, Jr. aka “Bub” passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025 in Conroe, Texas. He was born April 5, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Wesley F. and Marguerite Ray Weed. He was a devoted husband and a loving step-father to his wife’s children and grandchildren, which he loved as his own. Wes lived a life filled with worldwide travel and adventure.
He had a love for golf, gardening and playing pool. He had a passion for music as well. He also played baseball and football in his younger days. He was a kind and generous spirit.
He was a proud Baylor Bear and devoted fan. Wes was awarded Ambassador for the city of Enid, Oklahoma when they resided there. He also served two terms as April Sound Country Club Board of Trustees, President of the Men’s Association and the TTA Leader for 10 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Patsy Weed, sisters Emilyne Anding and Martha Worsley, sister-in-law Karen Weed, step-children Jason “Kirk” Loos (Imelda), Donald “Tyson” Loos (Pam), grandchildren Meghan Rush (Matt), Cody Loos (Kaitlyn), Katie Loos-Janecka (James), Mason Loos, and Braden Laroux. Several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his devoted fur baby “Hoss” are also left to treasure his memory.
Wes was preceded in death by his parents, brother Allen Weed, and brothers-in-law Bob Anding and Robert Worsley.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Mr. Weed at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025 at April Sound Church 67-1/2 April Wind Dr S., Montgomery, Texas 77356.
