Funeral services for Wanda “Honey” Perry will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Don Kidd officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Honey was born on August 2, 1937 in Conroe, Texas to Herschel and Bess Lummus and passed away August 10, 2011 in The Woodlands, Texas. Honey had a great love of her family and friends and zest for life and will be missed by all. She was a life-long resident of Montgomery County. Honey was a great cook and loved BBQ cook-offs and an extremely avid football fan. Honey left an imprint on each of the lives she touched and will greatly be missed but never forgotten. As she said, “Family and friends are like a treasure, the more you have the richer you are,” and so she counted herself a wealthy woman. Left behind to cherish her many loving memories are her children; Donnalee Allen and her husband Patrick, Troy “Buzzy” Cook and his wife Brenda and W. L. Perry, Jr; sister, Patsy Ann Dover and her husband Joe; grandchildren, Kim Allen-Crow, Elizabeth Cook, Jennifer Nickless, Josie Cook and Lacie Cook; great grandchildren, Kaylee Cook, Chance Applegate, Daisy Nickless, Dakota Nickless, Jaren Crow, Dixie Nickless and Caleb Cook. Numerous other relatives and a host of loving friends also survive. You are invited to view the guest book and leave written condolences to the family at www.cashnerconroe.com
