Wanda “Blondie” Moore walked in to the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday February, 23, 2016. She will cheerfully greet her beloved husband Frank, as well as many loved ones who have gone on before her including her sisters Donna, Janet, and Janie and brothers Harry, Bob, Jack, Jim, and Gene.
Wanda was born on August 28, 1929 in Harrisburg, PA to Ed and Lilly Kightlinger. They eventually moved to Vallejo California where she graduated from Vallejo High. She met the love of her life Frank Moore while he was stationed near Santa Rosa California where she worked as a telephone operator. During their nearly 62 years of marriage, Frank's dedicated military services took them to several different places until they eventually made Conroe, TX their permanent home in 1971. Frank preceded Wanda in death on August 17th, 2012. They shared a lifetime of immense love, laughter, and joy with their 3 children and their spouses who they are survived by, Karen and Dennis Cibart, Sharon and Paul Leonard, and Jack Moore, along with their 9 Grandchildren Lori Cibart, Kim Tostie, Denise Cibart-Gacke, Paul Leonard Jr., Dawn Leonard, Jaime Jordan, Jason Moore, Angela Mayes, and Jonathan Moore and their 18 Great Grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Wanda dedicated every day to her lord and served him faithfully. This virtue was revealed through the way she lived her life and loved her family and her friends. The day she was born was a truly blessed day on this earth. She positively touched every second of every soul that she met and while the brightest light in the world may have dimmed, the light and love she leaves in our hearts will forever burn brightly. Family will receive guests at a visitation service on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 5pm till 7pm.
