Virginia Ann Simmons

Virginia was salesperson and executive assistant to Lawrence Marshall of Lawrence Marshall Chevrolet-Geo for more than 25 years. She recieved Truck Sales Honor Club National Council member award for 2 years, was top salesperson in 1985, recieved Legion of Leaders award 5 years and was the national finalist in Chevrolet "Face Off" competition in 1989. She was a great cook who enjoyed golfing, shopping, and traveling, preferrably together. Spending time together as a family was important to her and she loved playing games, especially with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son Robert Fife and daughter Vickie Garrett, grandchildren Brandi Cheree Dozier and husband Kyle, Meghan Adele Frey, Hailee Dayle Garrett, Robert Brandon Fife and wife Elizabeth, seven great grandchildren, Kaelyn Grace Dozier, Jordyn Whitley Dozier, Loghyn Olivia Dozier, Averi Tayte Frey, April Jayde Frey, Skylar Elizabeth Fife, and Gavin Robert Fife, niece Robin Amanda Kelley, nephew Bradley Jones, sister Linda Kay Kelley and husband Jimmy, and brother Lawrence Henry Jones and wife Dixie. Numerous other family and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at Metcalf Funeral Home in the chapel Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00pm.
