Victor Parker Bowman

Vic had a career in sales and was a business owner for over 40 years. During his retirement years, he and our mother dedicated their lives to the support of many missionaries, seminaries and mission organizations for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom. He was a volunteer chaplain for the Huntsville prison system for at least 10 years. He and our mom served faithfully at their church, including taking elderly church members to doctor's appointments and hosting missionaries on furlough.

He was dearly loved by his 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by wife of 63 years, Marsha Michael Bowman and by his parents, James Bowman and Ruby Nichols Bowman.

He is survived by his five children Brenda Bowman Scott, Blake Bowman, Susan Bowman Wilson, Chris Bowman and Michael Bowman, his sister-in-law Janet Michael Herbelin and his nieces and nephews.
