Trudy M. Fleming was born on February 26, 1939 in Live Oak, Florida and passed away on March 6, 2021 at 82 years old in Conroe, Texas. Family was always very important to her. She enjoyed cooking and one of her favorite things to do was bake delicious food…particularly cakes and other deserts…for her friends and family. Throughout her life she always enjoyed singing, and regularly used her beautiful voice to praise the Lord in the choir as a member of the First Baptist Church of Conroe. She was blessed with a green thumb and would spend much of her time tending to her many plants and flowers. Whenever her family would have trouble getting something to grow, they could just pass it on to her and she would have it blooming in no time! Family always came first to Trudy, and her great granddaughter, Luka Anne, was her pride and joy. She was so excited to become a great grandmother.
Trudy M. Fleming is preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings. She is survived by her husband of 62 ½ years, Virgil L. Fleming Sr., daughter Gwen Fleming Spjut, her husband Swen Eric Spjut, son Virgil Lee Fleming Jr., grandchildren Erik Fleming Spjut, his wife Laura Anne Spjut, Lauren Nichole Spjut, Lindsey Marie Spjut, Adam Fleming, and great granddaughter Luka Anne Spjut.
Funeral service for Trudy M. Fleming will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:00am with visitation at 9:00am prior to service. Interment will follow service at Garden Park Cemetery.
