Terrie met Gary in Shreveport, Louisiana and were married on February 14, 1983, and shared 40 loving years together. She always dreamed of living on the lake and Gary made that dream a reality in 2017 when they moved to Lake Conroe.
Her greatest joys included being with family and friends, her puppies, Carmen, Priscilla, Magnolia, and Boudreaux and always planning her next Halloween party. She loved everyone she met whole-heartedly, and no one ever left without a huge hug, kiss, and a container full of food. She had a twenty-year love for the sign business and all of her customers were treated like family. No job was too small or too big, she would make it happen. She spent her final days in the comfort of her home watching her favorite game shows and looking out at the lake.
Terrie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone, and she will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
She is preceded in death by father, Charles Watson.
She is survived by husband, Gary Hurst; her mother, Rena Britt; her sister, Kathy Wilson; her daughter and son-in-law, Brandie Rogers-Gonzales and Gabriel Gonzales; her son, Brandon Hurst; her granddaughter, Reghan Rogers.
