Teri S. Bagley was born on February 23, 1957, in Port Arthur, TX to Jack Perry & Jaqueline Page. She is the middle child having 4 brothers (Charles, James, Ricky, & Randy). Teri lived in multiple areas as a child before settling with her mother and daddy (Robert Page) in Livingston, TX. She graduated from Livingston High School and eventually met her husband Jimmy Bagley Sr. while working in the area. Teri and Jimmy were married on June 1, 1974 and welcomed their first child (Jimmy Bagley Jr) in April of 1978. They welcomed their 2nd child (Pamela Bagley) in September of 1981.
Teri attended college at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX graduating with a Bachelor of Teaching degree in 1987. She would earn her master's degree from SHSU in 1992. She began her career teaching Jr High in Livingston until relocating to Willis, TX in 1990 where she would teach, counsel, and work with Special needs children at Willis Independent School District for more than 30 years until she retired in June of 2022.
Teri dedicated her life to the children, teens, and young adults she taught, counseled, and mentored. Teri loved her family deeply and was heavily involved in her children and then grandchildren’s lives. Teri leaves a legacy of kindness, compassion, and love not readily shown now often enough.
Teri is preceded in death by her mother Jacky, Father Jack, daddy Robert, brothers Ricky and Charles, as well as numerous extended family and friends. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Bagley Sr, Son Jimmy Bagley Jr and his wife Michelle, Daughter Pamela Bagley, brothers James Perry and Randy Perry as well as Randy’s wife Margaret. She is also survived by her grandchildren Loryn, Madisyn, Jimmy III, and Jasyn Bagley as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Remembrance services will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10am in Cashner Colonial Hall. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cashnerconroe.com for the Bagley family.
