Susan was born on January 13, 1958, to Dean and Edna Griffith, and was the youngest of 5 children. She was welcomed into Heaven by her mother and father, brother David, and sister Tina Martindale. She is survived by her sister Pam Demaret and husband Joe, brother Les Griffith and wife Karla, and their many children and grandchildren.
Susan graduated early from Milby High School in December 1975 and went on to Lamar University to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She then had a successful 30-year career with Farmers Insurance, where she made significant contributions to her field and clients.
Susan was always a free spirit. Along with a wild and carefree group of friends, which include her favorite “YaYa’s”, she met Mark Clark and welcomed 3 wonderful children into this world. Susan’s nurturing spirit, ability to provide sound advice, and a listening ear will be deeply missed by her son Waylon Clark and partner Zach Brewer, son Dylon Clark and wife Jennifer, daughter Tori Geary and husband Noah. “SuSu” will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Wyatt and Charlotte Geary.
In her later years, she met Ike Osborn who quickly fell in love with Susan’s smile, kind heart and fun personality. Ike and Susan married surrounded by family and friends at their favorite place, the Frio River. Ike was a wonderful partner who gave everything he had to care for Susan in her final years and remained by her side every step of the way. His love for her was shared by stepdaughter Devin Senderling and grandchildren Jules and Sammy Senderling and stepson John Osborn.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Susan will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023, at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX with visitation starting at 9:00 am and celebration of life at 10:00 am. Friends, family, and all those whose lives were touched by her are invited to join us.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, to help find a cure for the disease that took her from us far too early.
May Susan's soul find eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the memories and love she left behind. She will forever remain in our hearts.
With profound sadness,
The Clark and Osborn Families
