Shirley Jean Irvin was born in Houston, Texas April 7, 1941 and passed away May 8, 2015 in Conroe, Texas, with her loving family by her side. She was one of the many pioneering Registered Nurses in the Houston area. She was preceded in death by her parents, McKinnley and Theola Johnson Smith; husband, Charles Leslie Irvin; and brother, Michael Cosper. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Irvin of Conroe, Texas; son Jonathan Charles Irvin of Conroe, Texas; sister, Gwendolyn Wilson; brothers, McKinley Smith, Lonnie Earl Cosper and Reginald Cosper; and grandchildren, Ian Charles Irvin and Isaac Hayes Irvin. A Memorial Service will be held in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 12:30pm.
