Sandra LuAnne Chapa, age 57, of Conroe Texas, passed away, May 9, 2016, with her husband peacefully by her side after a courageous battle against cancer. Sandy was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was loved and adored by everyone she met (she never met a stranger) and stole the heart of her husband and best friend of 29 years. Sandy loved being outdoors and spent most of her years hunting, fishing, camping and mudding. As well as a few indoor hobbies including cake decorating, sewing like her grandmother, bedazzling high heels and screaming at the television during football season. Family was everything to Sandy and she will always be remembered for that kind giving hospitality she showed everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Sharon Caylor, sister, Sharon Elizabeth Caylor and grandparents, John and Mada Lou Skidmore. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Victor Chapa of Conroe, TX, daughters, Jennifer Hayes of Hudson, MA and Alisha Hayes of Conroe, TX, son, Mannie Chapa and wife Capri of Conroe, TX, grandchildren, Malaki Hayes, Madeleine Hayes, Aydan Hayes, Trey Chapa and Taylor Chapa of Conroe, TX and Cole Lindsley in Hudson, MA, brother, William Caylor Jr. and wife Dorothy; sister, Diane Parker and husband Jeff. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Chris Cornelius officiating, Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Caylor, Chris Hale, Luis Chapa, Sergio Chapa, Carlos Sanchez, Felipe Rodriguez, and Clem Guidry.
