Ronald Paul Hanke, loving known as Ron, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. He was born August 14, 1945, in Oak Park, Illinois to Paul “PF” and Rose Hanke. Ron’s life started out in Illinois, but after his job moved him to 9 different states, Texas became his home. Ron and his wife Bonnie agreed that there was never a better place to raise a family than Cypresswood, Texas. He was kind, patient, and giving, a great father and the best “first” husband for 52 years.
He loved his family beyond words and would do anything for them. His many great friends were always a source of enjoyment and a blessing to him.
Ron is survived by his loving wife Bonnie, sons Robert Hanke and wife Sarah, Daniel Hanke and wife Rebecca, grandchildren Kiley, Garren, Christian, Laelah, and Fynlee, and sister-in-law, Janice, as well as many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Captain Robert Hanke.
A celebration of life will be held, on Ron’s birthday this year, Friday, August 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.
