Ron Voyles passed away on March 25, 2019, in The Woodlands, Texas, surrounded by loving family. He was born on September 25, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ronald Oris Voyles and Kathryn Locke Voyles.
Ron was a graduate of University of Texas at Austin, Parker University College of Chiropractic and South Texas College of Law Houston. He began his career as a gifted chiropractor, where he helped many patients find pain relief and improve their lives. In recent years, Ron worked alongside his devoted wife Wendy at Ron Voyles & Associates in Conroe, Texas, where he practiced law as an accomplished criminal defense attorney. When he wasn’t fighting for the rights of his clients, he could be found jamming on the guitar with friends, riding his bike in the state forest, or playing with his beloved dogs, Mickey and Elvis. A voracious reader, Ron entertained family and friends with his expansive knowledge and playful sense of humor and mischief. He believed cooking was a lost art, and relished the process of planning, shopping, and cooking meals for his loved ones. His wisdom and wit will be sorely missed, and the great love he had for his family and enthusiasm for life, not forgotten.
Ron is preceded in death by his sister, Whitney Voyles. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Voyles; stepchildren, Christian, Brendan, and Stella; parents, Ron Voyles and Kathryn Voyles; sister, Nicole Marrs and husband Jarrod; brother, Adam Voyles and wife Mindy; nieces and nephews, Carly, Cole, Jackson, Sydney, Tyson, and Max. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel.
