I was blessed to know RAW. We work together with the veterans program and shear a lot of good memories. I will remember him as very good man, and as a friend. My heart goes out to his wife and friends.

So sorry to hear about R. A.'s passing.  We attended Aldine schools together back "in the good old days".  May you find comfort in wonderful memories and God's love.

I'm very sorry to hear of R.A's passing. My heart goes out to his family. Although I haven't seen him in many years I remember him very well. My brother an I played baseball against him in Little League. We played for the Braves and he played for the Cardinals. He was a good pitcher then and threw harder than anyone else in the league. I also remember that his dad managed that team. May God Bless you all during this sorrowful time.

I was blessed to know RA.  What stood out most to me was his love for his friends and family; especially his children. The love he had for his children was truly steadfast and unconditional.  I can only hope to love my children and family and friends so well. . . Peter Gilliam

So very sorry to read of RA's passing. We played football together at Aldine Junior High and Aldine High School. Condolences from my wife, Eloise Acree Blair, and me to all family members and friends.

To me & Mimi, RA was a great, wonderful son-in-law.
To AJ & Destiny he was crazy good ole Uncle Bob. 
But to Natalie, Corey, Jennifer & Jared, 
He hung the moon, rocked their boat, set the bar, 
Challenged them to think and do their best! 
As time goes by, may the tears and freaking out of today 
Be replaced with the wonderful memories of yesterdays & smiles! 
Why- because all that stuff he was he was to his children, 
RA and Jesus are kicked back over a glass of chardonnay, 
Swapping stories and sharing the Love.

I am so sorry to hear of RAs passing. He and I spent 13 years of our lives togather, 1st grade thru our freshman year at A&M. I have a lot of wonderful memories of our time togather then and in later years.
