Robert (Bob) C. Narron, born March 4, 1938, passed away at age of 84 on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was born in Shattuck, Ok and was raised in Pampa, TX. He served in the Marines from 1955 through 1961. Bob went on to work several jobs as truck driver for different companies until he went to work for Big Mac Trucking Co in Houston, from which he retired in 2000 as General Manager. He and his wife relocated to Toledo Bend Lake in Hemphill, TX and lived there for 13 years before moving back to Lake Livingston in Trinity, TX to be closer to family. Bob enjoyed golfing and hunting, but his passion was bass fishing, who along with his wife competed in many bass fishing tournaments. He also competed in the BFL league on his own in which he qualified for the All-American tournament at the Connecticut River in Hartford, Connecticut in 2006.
Bob is preceded in death by his son, Tony Narron, his mother Clara Narron, and his father Thomas Narron. Bob is survived by his wife, Yolanda (Yoli) Narron, 5 sons, Rodney (Debbie) Moore, Darrell Narron, Jason Chappell, Jaime (Belinda) Garcia, Fabian (Ivette) Garcia, and 1 daughter, Vanessa Thrasher (Jose Cavazos), his 13 grandchildren Cody & Christie Moore, Erica (Rene) Reyes, Adriana Garcia, Ilianna Garcia, Victoria Garcia, Fabian Garcia, Edgar Garcia, Josue Garcia, Abigail Garcia, Gabriel Thrasher, Luke Thrasher and Jessica Narron.
Celebration of life will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 2:00pm in Cashner Colonial Hall. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cashnerconroe.com for the Narron family.
