Chris was born June 30,1979 in Conroe, Texas and passed away at his home in Cedar Park, Texas, on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013. Chris is survived by his wife Julia, and son Parker; his parents Elaine and Tom W. Coltharp of Panorama; brother Duane Myers and his wife Tari, and nephew Will, of Seabrook, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Billy Wayne Myers, and his grandparents Robert and Velna Brabham. Other survivors include brothers Mark Coltharp and wife Jill, Tom J. Coltharp and wife Tammy, and Matt Coltharp and wife Cindi, as well as aunts and uncles Kathy and James Stratton of Houston, and Bobby and Vera Brabham of Willis. A number of additional loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also mourn his passing. Pallbearers will be Rob Stratton, Mark Coltharp, Tom J. Coltharp, Matt Coltharp, Bryan Anderson, Albert Mendoza, and Johnny Griffiths. Chris was a 1997 graduate of Willis High School, beloved by teachers and fellow students alike. He was born with an innate love of animals, especially dogs and horses. He had a passion for all outdoor activities that included hunting, biking, tennis, running, and swimming, serving many summers as a popular, friendly and respected Life Guard. Chris was a connoisseur of fine food, loved to cook, and had worked for many top restaurants in Texas. Among his other talents was his ability to communicate with his big brother Duane primarily through Blues Brothers movie parlance. More than any of these, though, were the love, joy and fun he shared with his son Parker. Chris knew from the day Parker was born that being a father was his most important job. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made to a college fund for Parker Myers, (William D. Myers, custodian). The address is Chase Bank by Mail, P.O.
