Robert “Wesley” Lowe, 85, of Willis, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Mesquite, Texas. He was born on June 15, 1929 in Dickerson Run, Pennsylvania, to Harold Winfred and Ethel Mae Valentine Lowe. Wes graduated from N. Belle Vernon High School in 1946. He spent his career working for Jack Roley’s Pontiac; an active volunteer fireman for N. Belle Vernon; and holding various positions in the Lions Club in Pennsylvania, until moving to Houston in 1980. After moving, he spent the remainder of his career working for Gillman Pontiac in Houston, and finally working security in Seven Coves in Willis. Wes is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Hilda of Willis, TX; son Rick Lowe and wife Bonnie of Liberty Township, OH; daughters Marilyn Lowe of Houston, TX, and Ruthi Miller and husband Curt of Bedford, TX; grandchildren Brian Lowe and wife Kara of Springboro, OH, Jason Lowe of Germantown, OH, Chris Miller of Los Angeles, CA, and Erin Rivera and husband Chadd of Dubai, UAE; one great- grandchild James Lowe of Germantown, OH, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in the Cashner Colonial Chapel.
