Robert “Bob” Hart was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Walter G. and Meck (Cowger) Hart.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1956 and his Masters Degree from University of Houston in 1973.
Bob then went on to have a career in the Oil & Gas industry working for Carter Oil, Esso, and Humble Oil all of which were predecessors to his career at Exxon. Bob retired from Exxon after 36 years of service.
Bob shared his time and talents with numerous organizations including the Montgomery County Library, Family History Center, Kiwanis Club, multiple genealogical organizations and was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. He had a passion for genealogy and published a book, Hart Family History in 2008.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Meck Hart, his brother, Walter Hart, and his daughter Carol (Hart) Kelley.
Bob is survived by his wife Anne (Dewey) Hart, daughters, Laurie Rayzor and husband Jack; Jamie (Hart) Bailey and husband Frank; Sandra Tepera and husband Darby; son-in-law, Scott Kelley; grandchildren, Austin Rayzor, Brandon Rayzor, Robert Kelley, Matthew Kelley, Paige Uhr, Sam Bailey, Leah Tepera and Emily Tepera.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303.
