Ralph Council, aged 78, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, at his home in Tomball, TX surrounded by family members. He was born on March 14, 1946 in Bryan, TX to Horace Sealy Council and Willie Mae
Saunders. Ralph Council was a beloved father to Leslie Council and devoted grandfather to Adam Laird, Wesley and Ashleigh Thompson. He is preceded by his charismatic sister, Mary Lou Fanning of Troup, TX.
He made many friends on his journey through life. He proudly represented his country as a US Marine in Vietnam where he became a skilled Rifle Expert which carried on in his trophy decorated benchrest shooting career. He was a strong-willed man who never backed down from a challenge and was loyal to his word. He will be deeply missed by many.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 10 AM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303. Graveside services will begin at 11 AM in Garden Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation to commemorate the USMC Service of Ralph Council. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your love and support of our Wounded Warriors.
