Peter was born to Banoo & Dhunjishah Shroff on April 19, 1926, in Calcutta, India. He is survived by his 5 children, Rita Calderon, Melanie Wyatt, Helen Hendrix, James Schroff, and John Schroff. His legacy includes 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
He became a US resident in 1955 and achieved several Ph D’s in the sciences. He started his career in aerospace and ended in the pharmaceutical field. He had several patents and was recognized in Who’s Who in Science.
His hobbies included stamp collecting, chess, mahjong, and bridge.
In his last days, the following Bible truth comforted him the most: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
