Pamela Lynn Hyek

Pam lead a long and successful career in nursing as an RN, providing loving care to many in the Texas Medical Center where she was well known. She graduated from Texas Womens University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (the first in her family to do so) and was a lifelong student. Pam’s hobbies included gardening in her beautiful yard, enjoying nature, and cooking meals for her large family gatherings. You could often find Pam in a lawn chair at the beach soaking up the sunshine. She had a big heart and loved unconditionally, always putting others before herself. Pam was a women of strong faith, firmly planted in Jesus Christ.

Pam is survived by her loving family, sons: Ronnie Hyek, Chris Hyek and wife Ale; grandchildren: Ava and Skyler Hyek; brothers and sisters: Reyes Placencia and wife Donnadae, Phillip Placencia and wife Margaret, Kathy Roberts and husband T.J., Glenn Willett Jr. and wife Kim, Tracy Willett and wife Julia, and Michelle Deleon; and numerous other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00PM Friday January 26, 2018 at Metcalf Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be held 10:00AM Saturday at Metcalf Funeral Directors. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Hyek family by signing the guest book.
