Nelwyn Ann Cude

Following an extending illness, our beloved Nelwyn Ann Page Cude went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 17, 2018. Nelwyn was born on August 25, 1948 in Houston, Texas, but was a lifelong resident of Cut and Shoot, Texas. From the age of two years, she attended and served the Lord at First Baptist Church Groceville. From her teen years, she worked diligently in the church with “her” little children who loved her very much. Nelwyn loved people and doing special things for them. She served faithfully in the food pantry of the church until physically unable to do so.

Nelwyn is preceded in death by parents, Don and Essie Page, grandparents, Curtis and “Miss” Annie Page and Frank and Ida Plunk. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James Ernest (Ernie) Cude, son, James Tylon Cude, brother, Don W. Page and wife Ellen Ann, aunt, Frankie Page. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 10:00am at First Baptist Church Groceville in Cut and Shoot (19256 FM 1484 Rd, Conroe, Texas, 77303) with Rev. Curtis Hallford officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Pantry at the church, or to the church, in her memory.
