Nadine (Rogers) Landry passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2022. She was born on August 4, 1941, to Oleta and JW Cribbs in the small town of Arp, Texas but later lived in the Houston and Conroe area before her final home in Spring, Texas.
Nadine was a gentle, kind woman who never met a stranger. She was strong in her faith and had immeasurable love for children and remarkable devotion to her family. She not only raised her three children but also helped to raise many of her grandchildren like they were her own.
Her first husband, Larry, was her high school sweetheart. They were married for 33 years with two daughters and a son. They ran their own print shop business in Conroe,Texas together for nearly 15 years as a family business until shortly after the passing of Larry. About ten years later, she was introduced to Loney Landry by their daughters who worked together. Their daughters thought that Loney and Nadine would get along since they both liked casinos and had lost their spouses several years before. They went on a date, dancing at The Hop, which was one of her favorite things to do, and six years later they were married. They have spent the last twenty years together dancing, traveling, visiting casinos, and taking care of one another.
In her free time, she enjoyed puzzles, playing board games, and Bingo. She was an active person and loved to dance, especially to Elvis Presley’s music, and would not be one to turn down a trip to the casino. She loved hosting get-togethers and having people over and always looked forward to the Thanksgiving holiday the most because that is when all her family would come together.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to the staff of Devotions Hospice for all their support, wonderful care, and the dignity they have shown through this entire process. We would like to also request that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
