Michelle Schmidt Kenny

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Michelle will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jack Mann officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5th, 2013. Michelle was born February 27, 1964 in Houston, Texas to Archie and Karen Schmidt and passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 1, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Michelle spent her younger years travelling, until she entered school in the Conroe area. She graduated from Conroe High School and then attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, where she received a degree in Accounting. In June of 2000, Michelle became a Certified Public Accountant, which offered her the opportunity to travel even more in her adult years. Michelle loved swimming, shopping, fishing, and cooking. One of her passions was entertaining friends and families, which she did so well and loved with all of her heart. In May of 2013, Michelle married the love of her life, John Kenny. Michelle is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Schmidt and by her step-son, Kyle Kenny. She is survived by her loving husband, John Kenny; parents, Archie and Karen Schmidt; siblings, Micheal Schmidt, Christine Hodge, Lisa Bly, Kimberly Buchanan; step-son, Trevor Kenny. Numerous nieces, nephews and three very special aunts, Jacqueline Midlocke, Donna Wegner, Diane Chaltry and a host of loving friends, also survive. Pallbearers will be, Trevor Kenny, Darren Bly, Jeremy Mathis, Dick Ziemer, Brian Tomashek and Robert Buchanan.
