Michael Randolph Armstrong was born on January 30, 1947 in Conroe, Texas and passed away at the age of 66 on January 21, 2014 in The Woodlands, Texas. During his lifetime he was devoted to his family, his church family, the firemen of the Cut-N-Shoot Volunteer Fire Department and his many customers he met throughout his years as a Master of Carpentry. He loved the special time spent with his son and grandchildren on their many hunting trips and enjoyed hiking with his wife of 47 years in the Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. He enjoyed being involved with the Cut-N-Shoot Volunteer Fire Department and working with the men and women of Montgomery County Emergency Service District Number 12, as a Commissioner and President of the board, for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, William M. Armstrong and Lucille Sapp; brother, Malcom R. Armstrong. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Green Armstrong; Son and Daughter-in-law, Keith and Melissa Armstrong; Daughter and Son-in-law, Wendy and Tony Pugh; Grandchildren, Tyler and Brooke Armstrong and Hannah Pugh; Brother, Robert Armstrong; Father and Mother-in-law, Charles and Billie Green; Brother-in-laws, Larry Green (Vicki), Bill Green (Alma); along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A visitation service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Cashner’s Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe,Texas 77303, from 5:00-7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm at County Line Cemetery located at 100 Browns Road, Willis, Texas.
