Mary Janet Creighton

Mary Janet Creighton, 84, passed peacefully away November 1, 2015 in Conroe, Texas. She was born December 14, 1930 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Walter James O'Bannon and Mattie Leona Dunaway. Janet was a long time resident of Conroe and was a loving mother, grandmother (Mimi) and friend. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Gerald Jerome Creighton, Jr. and her parents, Walter and Mattie O'Bannon and brother, Dean O'Bannon. She is survived by her daughter, Janna Hoke and husband Danny, son, Mark Creighton and wife Elaine,four grandchildren, Creighton Hoke, Molly Hoke, Clay Creighton and Cole Creighton and brother, James O'Bannon. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. A graveside interment of ashes service will be held on Thursday, November 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Garden Park Cemetery for Janet and Gerald Creighton. Family and friends are invited to stop by the law offices of Darden, Fowler & Creighton at 414 West Phillips for a lunch reception after the service.
