Mark was born on January 16, 1964, in Quincy, Illinois. He was the son of Johnnie Frese and Janet (Broeker) Frese. He graduated from Camdenton High School in 1982, where he was a standout member of the football team. Mark was married to Laurie (Neill) Frese on May 6, 2000, in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Frese, mother, Janet Frese, father-in-law, James Neill. Mark is survived by his wife, Laurie, brothers Dana Frese, and wife Kathy, Jefferson City, Missouri and Mike Frese, and wife Heidi, Ashland, Missouri, and mother-in-law, Norla Neill and Terry Daggett, Quincy, Illinois, and brother-in-law James Neill and sister-in-law Amy Neill, Hannibal, Missouri. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Julia Frese, Jefferson City, Missouri, Justin Frese, Chicago, Illinois, Tyler Frese and Adam Frese, Ashland, Missouri, and Hayden Neill and Blake Neill, Hannibal, Missouri. Mark was also survived by his step mother-in-law, Peggy Neill, Columbia, Missouri, step brother-in-law, Ben Burnett, Newport, Tennessee, and step sister-in-law, Barby Burnett-Wulff, Columbia, Missouri, and step-nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Drake, Andrew, and Katelyn.
Mark was involved in construction at the Lake of the Ozarks until he and Laurie moved to Conroe, Texas in 2000. Mark continued to work in the construction business in Texas. He also frequently helped friends, neighbors and family with handyman and renovation projects.
For many years, Mark and Laurie enjoyed traveling to Nascar races and Daytona Bike week in their RV with the dogs. They were active members/officers of the Cut N Shoot HOG Chapter based in Conroe, Texas. They traveled throughout the United States with their Harley friends. Mark and Laurie also enjoyed cruises, and trips visiting family. Mark loved his family so much, especially his nieces and nephews even though they did not live close to see each other often.
Mark was a loving parent of his beloved dogs, Macy, Romeo, Yadi, and Norma and the ones that have crossed over the rainbow bridge. His love for animals and children were like no other. Mark was a gentle and kind man with a big heart who considered everyone a friend and was loved by all who he touched during his life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas.
