Linda Sue Cowart

Linda Sue Cowart, age 60, died peacefully on November 9th, 2016 after a brief struggle with cancer. Linda was born September 20, 1956, in Conroe, TX, the daughter of the late Bluitt “Pete” Chapman and Helen Dicker Chapman. Family, friends and travel were Linda’s delights in life. Linda would embark on adventure as often as possible. Her most recent travels found her in Salt Lake City, UT visiting family, but she also loved cruises and the Texas Hill Country.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Cowart; two sons Robert Cowart Jr. and wife Jessi and Russell Cowart and wife Stephanie; sister, Barbara Froboese and her husband Joe; her loving grandchildren, Abby Henderson, Nathan Cowart, Mackenzie Sherman, and Baily Cowart; niece and nephew Robyn Loparo and Roland Froboese; and the innumerable friends she has made in her 60 years on earth. A memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Faith United Methodist Church, 2403 Rayford Road in Spring, TX at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Harry Vein officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the American Cancer Society.
