In his early life, Buz participated in several sports during school, followed by becoming a barber. Later, Buz determined his path was to serve our great country, so he enlisted in the Army. During Buz’s time in the Army, he acquired his pilot’s license, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Expeditions Medal (Korea), Good Conduct Medal Clasp, Bronze, 2 loops, Army Commendation Medal, Expert Rifle. Buz was honorably discharged, followed by continuing to serve within the government until 1973. Upon completion of his service, Buz pivoted to Law, and graduated from South Texas School of Law in May of 1977.
Buz enjoyed reading, history, politics, driving to try new restaurants with his wife Debbie, his pups Gabbie and Bella, and his extensive time practicing law, specifically his work uniting families through adoption services. Buz always had a position which he didn’t mind sharing. But most of all, he loved his time spent around the table with his family sharing stories.
Buz is survived by his Wife Debbie, son Tom, Tom’s wife Kelly, son Joe, Joe’s wife Kimberly, Grandchildren Reese, Bodhi, and Payton.
