Bill lived a very full life with a lot of family and friends. He loved telling people stories about his work adventures and fishing expeditions. We all listened, as if it were the first time we heard them, although we could probably tell the story ourselves from hearing them numerous times. He loved fishing and camping with his wife DeAnn. He was so ready to meet her by the River. His career spanned many decades of work as a Plumbing Superintendent for some of the tallest buildings in Downtown Houston to hospitals in the Medical Center. He finished out his career with the City of Houston Plumbing Inspection department. He devotedly took care of DeAnn in her time of need and after that chapter was completed he found joy in dancing at the Senior dances. He loved spending time with his Grandchildren and most recently all of his Great Grandbabies.
He was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life DeAnn Delores Badger; Daughter, Cindy Franklin; Son, Billy Badger; Mother, Orella Bettencourt; Father, Dr. William H. Badger; and Brother, Michael Badger. He is survived by Daughter, Linda Walker and husband Gary; Son, Larry Badger and wife Kerri; Brother, John Badger and wife Anne; Sister-in-law Lawanda Badger; Grandsons, Jason Morris and Brett Badger; Granddaughters, Erin Byrne, Lauren Janke, Felicia Dodd, and Dawn Badger; 8 Great-Granddaughters, Jaycie, Natalie, Jordan, Avery, Olivia, Peyton, Aria and Harper (and 1 more on the way); 6 Great-Grandsons, Hudson, Paxton, Maddox, Luke, Callum, and Boone; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
