With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann Simmons, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and loyal friend, who entered into eternal rest in Heaven on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the age of 44.
Kim was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and strength. She poured her love into everything she did - from the way she cared for her family, to the friendships she nurtured, to the grace with which she walked through life. Her laugh could light up a room, and her unwavering support was a gift to all who knew her.
As a wife, she was a true partner - steadfast, loving, and endlessly generous. As a daughter, she brought pride and joy to her family with her compassion and thoughtfulness. And as a friend, she was a quiet strength - reliable, kind, and wholeheartedly present.
Above all else, she cherished being a mother. Her children were the greatest joys of her life, and she poured her heart into raising them with love, encouragement, and unwavering support. She celebrated their successes, comforted them in their struggles, and always made sure they knew how deeply they were loved. Her guidance was gentle but strong, and her love was the kind that shaped their lives in lasting and meaningful ways. To her, motherhood was not just a role - it was her greatest honor and most cherished gift.
Kim found joy in life’s simple moments: a good cup of coffee, laughter with her family around the dinner table, watching her children participate in any activity, and time spent with those she loved most. She had a way of making others feel seen and valued, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband George Simmons, Jr., son Andrew Simmons, son Cameron Simmons, daughter Baylee Simmons, parents Richard and Sherry Roberts, father-in-law George Simmons, Sr., brother Greg Roberts and wife Virginia, sister-in-law Michelle and husband Shane Lapaglia, sister-in-law Loretta and husband Al Machann, grandparents Tom and Joyce Roberts, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends who will carry her memory with them every day.
Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents Jean and Edward Buddemeyer and mother-in-law Lillian Simmons. Serving as pallbearers are Andrew Simmons, Cameron Simmons, Gregory Roberts, Jason Sanitz, Tyler Buddemeyer, Al Machann, Shane Lapaglia, and Matthew Lapaglia. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing her love remains with us - woven into the very fabric of our lives.
