Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Rushing

Kenneth W. Rushing joined his family in Heaven on January 24, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas to his parents Curtis and Bonnie Rushing on October 21, 1935 and called Houston his home for his entire adult life.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Rushing, son Ronnie Rushing, grandsons Craig Rushing and husband Mike Trout; Brian Rushing and wife Erica Rushing, Daughter Judy Carantza and husband Stephen Carantza ,grandson Wesley Rushing, as well as his two brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by Ann (Horne) Rushing, the mother of Ronnie and Judy, father Curtis Rushing, mother Bonnie Rushing and sister Patsy (Rushing).

He was heavily involved in coaching little league and minor league baseball in the '60's & '70's and was an avid ASTROS fan. He loved baseball.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
