Juanita was an elementary teacher until her retirement. She enriched the lives of many children by instilling curricula, ethics, and principles of good citizenship. Within and out of the classroom, she lived her Christian passion and was an example to all who knew her. She was always active in the local church where the family attended, teaching classes and mentoring.
Juanita and Jamie retired to Conroe, Texas and enjoyed travelling with friends in their RV. She loved playing “Marbles” and would never pass an opportunity to go shopping with her daughters or close friends. At home, one could be assured there would be a beloved dog on her lap and a pot of coffee hot on the brewer.
Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Jamie Max Goad, and her daughter Charlotte Burkhart, Juanita is survived by her son, Dr. Jamie Dale Goad and his wife Cherri of Carrizozo, New Mexico, by her daughter, Debra Pruter of Conroe, Texas, her son-in-law, Rick Burkhart of Oklahoma, her sister Myrna Rae Albright and husband Richard of Oklahoma, by her grandchildren Jerry Edward Hall, Briton Goad, Adrian Goad, Juanita Marie Springmeyer, and Shirlena Springmeyer, and 6 great grand children.
