Josh "Gene" Eugene Flynt

Gene was married to the love of his life, Yvonne, with whom he shared over 45 years of marriage. He had five children, Kenny Stratton, James Flynt, Tammy Stratton, Darla Hand and Heather Davis. He had ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Gene is survived by his brother Ray Flynt and wife Darla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh and Mildred Flynt.

Gene graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He successfully held a career as a Commercial Real Estate Broker and property manager. As an entrepreneur he began his own Real Estate company Target Realty.

He was an avid golfer and excelled at many sports including softball, basketball, water skiing, bowling and even raced his own Mercury drag boat.

Gene was held in high esteem and adored by all who knew him. He was a role model and mentor to so many. His absence will be deeply felt by his family and friends. His smile, his kindness and integrity will never be forgotten.
