Jorge Christian Keitel, 53, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Chile on September 5, 1963. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Cami Keitel and their daughter Cadee Keitel of Conroe, Texas; parents, Juan Enrique Morales and Maggie Keitel; brother, Juan Andres Morales and wife Andrea Arias and their children, Isabella and Juliana Morales Arias; sister, Paulina Morales Keitel; father and mother-in-law, John and Dee Lynn Davey; sister-in-law, Cara Lycan and husband John and family, Amie and Trey Wright, Sean and Bria Wright, Thad and Erin Lycan and Luke Lycan; brother-in-law, Mark Davey and family, Tia and Matt Gibson, Oliver and Cambria Gibson and Ky Davey; and his “American Parents”, Robert and Carol Wadsworth and the extended Wadsworth family.He served in the Chilean Air Force from 1982 to 1991. He later completed a degree in Journalism from the Universidad de Las Condes. He studied Engineering at the Fachhochschule in Aachen, Germany. In the United States, he completed his certification to teach high school Spanish and Physics. He later served as a Health, Safety and Environment Specialist for Neyrfor and Schlumberger. He completed a personal milestone in September of 2016 when he became a US citizen. Jorge’s love of travel took him on many adventures across South America, Europe and North America. He had a passion for airplanes, cars, and computers, but nothing could compare to his passion for family and being a father. Papi will forever be his favorite title and Cadee his greatest accomplishment. His loss is felt by friends and family around the globe.
In recognition of the recent death of Jorge Christian Keitel, family members have decided to honor him with a scholarship at Lone Star College. This scholarship will help others receive the education they need and will also honor Jorge Christian Keitel’s memory. Please consider supporting these efforts with a donation in any amount.
