John William Peake

John William Peake was born on December 7, 1960 in Kirkwood, Missouri. He went home to be with his Lord on June 9, 2017, at the age of 56, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Peake of Germany, and his birth mother, Audrey Svoboda-Peake. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lauri Ann Peake, son, Caulan James Peake, daughter, Brianna Jade Peake, daughters Lori and Michelle, father, Horace James Peake Jr., step-mother, Katherine Peake and sisters, Marsha and Theresa. John worked at Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 28 years and was fortunate enough to retire at the age of 50. He loved the outdoors: biking, swimming, and hunting and especially cooking. He was so very proud of his wife and children and loved to talk about their accomplishments. He especially enjoyed going to Caulan’s high school football games and watching Brianna play soccer. He cherished every moment he got to spend with his family. John knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Conroe and attended as often as he could. There will be a celebration of life held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 3:00pm at First Baptist Church, Conroe followed by a time of fellowship and sharing of memories.
