John Henry Bolin Sr.

John Henry Bolin, Sr. 86 years old passed away on December 10, 2015. He was born in Kosse, Texas on April 20, 1929. He is preceded in death by his daughters Judy Tugwell and Helen Dobbs. John is survived by his wife, Delfrieda Bolin and his children, John H. Bolin, Jr., Kenneth Bolin and Lester Bolin all of Montgomery, Texas and Carolyn Neel of Florene, LA. John had numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

John was married to the love of his life Delfrieda for 69 years. John built his own house and he loved building cars for his children when they were growing up in the country. John could build anything from a homemade sawmill to modified cars to anything that he dreamed up. He loved working in his gardens growing vegetables and giving them to friends and family. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 13, 2015 between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Funeral Home, Conroe, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Metcalf Funeral Home on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with the interment to follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
